Sarah Serrao is a board-certified family nurse practitioner practicing dermatology in Mason, Ohio. She started her career in nursing as an emergency room registered nurse at UPMC in Pittsburgh while obtaining her Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Carlow University.  Upon graduation, she joined DOCS Dermatology.  In addition to her general medical dermatology clinic, Sarah is active in dermatologic clinical research and education.  Sarah mentors fellows through the DOCS dermatology fellowship program and is a frequent contributor to the DOCS APP educational webinar series.  Sarah is the sub-investigator of the clinical research department at DOCS Dermatology Mason, Ohio.  She has been involved in numerous clinical research trials for various disease states including psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, hidradenitis suppurativa, alopecia areata, and acne.  Sarah is passionate about educating fellow dermatology advanced practice providers on how to utilize clinic research data into their daily clinics.
