Mary Lupo, MD, FAAD

Mary P Lupo, MD, FAAD has been a board-certified dermatologist and leader in the field of non-surgical rejuvenation for four decades. Her innovative contributions include starting the first formal residency training program for injectables and peels in 1983 at Tulane Medical School and co-founding the Cosmetic Boot Camp CME meeting in 2004. She is a past president of Women’s Dermatologic Society, adjunct clinical professor of dermatology at Tulane and a past director on ASDS board. Her passion is to promote ethical aesthetic patient care by lecturing, mentoring and being involved with research in neuromodulators, fillers, and energy devices. Dr. Lupo is also a sought-after speaker, not just within her field, but also at other core specialty meetings. She has participated in over 37 clinical trials for approval of new drugs and devices and is often quoted in media outlets and acts as a consultant or advisor for numerous aesthetic-minded companies. She has been awarded the ASDS Excellence in Teaching award, and Tulane Medical School Distinguished Service award, the Women’s Dermatologic Society Mentor of the Year award, Women’s Dermatologic Society President's award, WDS Visionary and Leadership award, the Lifetime Educator award from the Dermatology Foundation and an AAD Presidential citation for her innovation and commitment to education in Aesthetics. Retirement is currently not on her radar, but she is finding more time to enjoy travel and family. Her hobbies include cooking, hiking, reading, bible study and her 5 grandchildren.
