Roxana Daneshjou, MD, PhD, FAAD, is a physician-scientist and Assistant Professor of Biomedical Data Science and Dermatology at Stanford University, with a courtesy appointment in Radiology. Her research focuses on developing and rigorously evaluating artificial intelligence for healthcare, including large language models, multimodal AI, medical imaging, and clinically grounded datasets, with an emphasis on building safe and generalizable systems. She is a recipient of the 2026 Fierce 50 Award, which recognizes influential leaders driving innovation across healthcare.
