Nathan Howell, MD, is a fellowship-trained pediatric sports medicine physician at Children’s Hospital Colorado and the University of Colorado. He specializes in the care of young athletes, with clinical interests in chronic and overuse injuries, concussion management, musculoskeletal ultrasound, and sports-related injuries affecting the knee, foot, ankle, and spine.

Dr. Howell earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia, received his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia, and completed both his pediatric residency and sports medicine fellowship at the University of Colorado. He is dedicated to providing patient-centered care that helps young athletes return safely and confidently to the activities they love.
