Dr Patrick Simard is graduated from École d’Optométrie de l’Université de Montréal in 2002 where he also obtained his Master’s Degree in vision science on keratoconus research (2006). He is a Fellow of the AAO, the IACLE, the BCLA and the IAOMC. He is a Diplomate of the AAO in the section on Cornea, Contact Lenses and Refractive Technologies. He also obtained a Master’s Degree in Business Administration in 2010 from HEC Montreal. Dr Simard is in private practice at Clinique d’Optométrie Bélanger and has been a clinical instructor and lecturer at Université de Montréal since 2002. His research interests include myopia control, orthokeratology, aberrometry, scleral lenses and dry eyes.
