Dr. Thomas Aller is an optometrist, researcher, and innovator in myopia management. He is a named inventor on 22 granted U.S. and international patents, including shared and continuation patents with Vision CRC and the Brien Holden Vision Institute, focused on optical strategies to control myopia progression. He has served as a Visiting Scholar at the University of California, Berkeley School of Optometry and as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Houston College of Optometry and is a clinical and scientific advisor to multiple companies engaged in myopia control. Dr. Aller is a consultant to Euclid Vision Group as well as to the Brien Holden Vision Institute. Dr. Aller is a Garland Clay Award recipient and author of one of the 13th most influential papers of the last 100 years in Optometry and Vision Science, and is recognized by Expertscape as a leading clinical expert in myopia.
